Japan-Germany Industry Forum 2012 (JGIF 2012)
“New Markets through New Materials: Challenges of the Chemical Industry.”
On November 16, 2012, Germany Trade & Invest held the 8th Japan-Germay Industry Forum (JGIF2012) in Tokyo. The topic of this year´s forum was “New Markets through New Materials: Challenges of the Chemical Industry.” Specific focus was placed on the field of New Materials. Industry experts of leading companies from Japan and Germany were on hand to share their experiences and knowledge in the respective fields. Investment conditions in Germany were also outlined in introductory presentations.
The “German Business Lounge” afterwards provided an opportunity to establish, maintain and intensify personal contacts to the industry experts as well as to speakers.
Over 240 attendees from industry, research, and politics participated in Tokyo for 2012.
