Germany Seeks Investors in BrazilGermany has already established itself as an essential business partner for Brazil, especially within the EU. Brazil is the most important South American business partner for Germany. All major German players are represented in Brazil, including Volkswagen, Siemens and BASF. The number of Brazilian investors in Germany remains low but will surely expand along with the country’s economy. Together with representatives of the new Berlin Brandenburg International Airport and the federal states of Saxony and Thuringia, Germany Trade & Invest will host a meeting of investors on May 8 in Rio de Janeiro and May 10 in São Paulo.

LTE Reaches Rural Germany FirstThe first places to receive LTE coverage in Germany were not global cities like Berlin or Munich. Towns of 5,000 inhabitants or less were connected to new high-speed networks first. Now that rural areas have been covered, German providers have their sights set on urban areas this year.
