1 The AKU-Graduate School of Media and Communications (GSMC) was launched in 2015 in Nairobi, Kenya. GSMC aims to be the premier source of education and tailored training for journalists, communicators, media executives and entrepreneurs in East Africa and beyond. It seeks to foster an ethical, diverse, independent, innovative and economically thriving media and communications sector that contributes to the creation of successful and sustainable societies in an era of rapid change.

2 The AKU - School of Nursing and Midwifery (SoNAM) provides nursing and midwifery education with the objective of building professional capacity throughout the region according to industry and regulatory standards. SoNAM provides training in Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Midwifery, and Diploma in Nursing and Postgraduate education in Oncology nursing. SoNAM operates campuses in Nairobi, Kenya; Kampala, Uganda; and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Requested Services:

AKU invites eligible firms to participate in the prequalification process for the selection of applicants to provide the following services in this two-part consultancy assignment:
- Developing a monitoring and evaluation framework that will inform continuous progress assessment

- Carrying out necessary assessments at various stages of this project (project baseline, midline, and end line assessments).
