Green Hydrogen Economy Inbound Delegation Tour for Japanese Companies
Economic opportunities in the field of green hydrogen and sector coupling
As part of the Internationalization of Regions in Structural Transformation (ISW) program, Germany Trade & Invest, in cooperation with Bremen Invest, the Business Development and Technology Transfer Corporation of Schleswig-Holstein Hamburg Invest, Invest in MV, and Invest in Niedersachsen, is inviting Japanese companies to join our inbound delegation tour of the green hydrogen economy in northern Germany.
In 2019, the federal states of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, and Schleswig-Holstein adopted a joint hydrogen strategy with the aim of establishing northern Germany as one of the leading regions for the hydrogen economy.
The region has many strengths in favor of a green hydrogen economy, e.g. a high generation capacity of renewable energy, a high storage capacity, seaports for hydrogen logistics, various use cases in the industry, and numerous relevant research institutions. For international companies and institutions, the region offers promising investment and cooperation opportunities for innovative solutions in the hydrogen economy.
At our upcoming inbound delegation trip, jointly organized by Bremen Invest, the Business Development and Technology Transfer Corporation of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg Invest, Invest in MV, Invest in Niedersachsen, and Germany Trade & Invest, Japanese company representatives will have the chance to meet and visit major players and innovative projects in northern Germany’s green hydrogen economy.
Look forward to individual exchange, meet your future business partners and take your first business steps into Germany!
