Temporary Technical Difficulties
Due to a hacking attack, there are currently restrictions on contact with Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). We regret this situation and are working to get our systems back up and running as quickly as possible.
Our land telephone lines are out of service, The best way to contact members of GTAI is via mobile phone. As one of many security measures, we have generated new email addresses for GTAI employees. Simply substitute the suffix eu. for .de or .com at the end of address. Example max.mustermann@gtai.eu. These addresses are only used on newly programmed, wiped-clean devices and are thus virus-free. Emails and attachments received from these devices do not contain malware and do not, in the view of our IT experts, represent a risk.
We cannot a present rule out risk to providers and clients from data sent by GTAI before the hacking attack became known, although it is unlikely. If you have or have had business or contractual contact with GTAI and have questions about the security of your data, please get in touch with us at datenschutz@gtai.eu. We are in the process of identifying what data has indeed been stolen, and once this is done, we will inform the individuals and clients affected.
To offer our employees and clients the greatest possible data security, we are currently subjecting out IT infrastructure to comprehensive review. We will only reboot our systems once this examination is complete and further security measures are in place. We unfortunately cannot say at present when this will be.
We are aware that the current situation restricts our ability to communicate and work with our clients thank everyone involved for their understanding and patience.
