Event Review: Shape the Future Together with 'Made in Germany'
Business Opportunities in Eastern Germany
Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) held a "Shape the Future Together with 'Made in Germany'" investor event in Chengdu at the St. Regis Chengdu Hotel on September 18.
Together with Acting Consul General of the German Consulate General Chengdu, Alexander Fowles, GTAI welcomed Chinese company representatives to its exclusive investor conference. This was the first time that GTAI had held an event with its specialist experts in the city and province. As well as GTAI's own specialist presentations, representatives from four new federal state economic development agencies presented the specific location advantages of their respective home states. A personal testimonial outlining a successful investment project in Eastern Germany was provided by Guobing Li, Vice President of Hang Sheng Electronics. More than 70 participants took advantage of the opportunity to engage in individual discussions with GTAI experts Jie Zhang, Jerome Hull and Robert Herzner.
Prior to the event beginning, participants were treated to a screening of the image film trailing GTAI's new "Germany Works." umbrella campaign for the business location Germany.
