Forming the Future in Germany: Where INDUSTRIE 4.0 is driving Innovative Industrial Value Chains
Germany’s industrial and service economies are inextricably linked to INDUSTRIE 4.0. Now the question arises concerning the opportunities associated with the factories of the future in Germany. How can Germany remain attractive for business? Why are highly innovative foreign companies still investing in Germany? What business conditions do we need? In the light of new challenges posed by INDUSTRIE 4.0, how can we continue to design and utilize these business conditions in order that no questions will be raised by a foreign company if it will invest in Germany, but only when?

These and other points were the focus of this discussion.

As part of the official opening of the HANNOVER Messe 2016 „Global Business & Markets“, Germany Trade & Invest hosted an international- “INDUSTRIE 4.0”panel discussion moderated by IBM. Company representatives from GE, KUKA Group, SAP, OMNI-ID, and FRAUNHOFER ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING ALLIANCE discussed integrated industry developments in front of an audience of 200 guests.
