As part of the Internationalization of Regions in Structural Change (ISW), Germany Trade & Invest – in cooperation with the Business Development Agency of the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein is hosting an investor event of the clean tech economy.
Germany is a well-known European hub for renewable energy and green business. In the north of the country, the state of Schleswig-Holstein, produced 28 million MWh from renewable energy sources in 2023, exceeding the state’s own electricity consumption by almost 200%.
This session will spotlight shared priorities between Germany and the US West Coast —including green hydrogen and battery storage—alongside a commitment to environmental justice, economic growth, and green workforce development.
