Impact Measurement for Verdant Capital Hybrid Fund

Brief Description of the Contract:

• The main objective is to conduct an impact measurement survey for 3-5 investees of VCHF. The impact studies’ overall expected outcome is to give a clear picture of whether the Fund’s overall impact indicators have been achieved. The primary impact objective of the Fund is jobs and livelihoods creation. Secondary impact objectives are broadly based on other UN Sustainable Development Goals. The consultant(s) will engage the beneficiaries and provide a detailed report based on the above-stated objectives. Impact measurement is therefore deployed to help companies track their impact and improve in the following areas: impact of investment, for example, measuring employment effect and socioeconomic outcome, improving their social performance/impact assessment and monitoring measures. The study will assess whether the Fund’s investments have contributed to achieving the Fund’s overall impact indicators, especially for those companies that are investees.
