Supply/Installation and Construction of Water Supply Network in the City of Vlora

Brief Description of the Contract:

• Supply/Installation and Construction of Water Supply Network, Reservoirs, Pumping Stations incl. Flood protection Measures in the City of Vlora

Planned Works

• Water Supply:

Supply and installation of 90.8 km supply network , comprising of 88.1 km of network pipes diameter ≤ PE 160 OD and 2.7 km of network pipes PE 225 OD to PE 500 OD , incl. electro-fusion fittings, , valves, domestic water meters and electro magnetic flow meters, hydrants, Pressure reduction valves and the construction of approximately 5,381 house connections (Pipes for house connections in PE-RC OD 20 – OD 63 mm).
Supply and Installation of Bulk flow meters at several Reservoir and Pump Station locations. Rehabilitation of a reservoir (2 x 2,000m³) incl. civil work and replacement of valves and construction of a new valve chamber incl. DI pipes and fittings and valves. 
Rehabilitation of 3 main pumping stations incl. sea barrier works, replacement and renewal of low voltage panels, flood mitigation measures, replacement of electromechanical equipment, new instrumentation in spring chamber, minor civil works and maintenance of pumps.
Rehabilitation of existing chlorination station, refurbishment of the existing building and supply and installation of chlorine dosing and storage equipment.
Implementation of a SCADA system including supply and installation of measurement, data logging and transmission equipment at flowmeters, Pump stations, reservoirs and chlorination station.
