Consulting Services, MSME Support

Brief description of the Contract:

ADGF was established by KfW and its Albanian partners with European Union funding in July 2015. ADGF aims to improve access to finance for micro-, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Albania through the provision of guarantees to local financial institutions since 2015. The Project aims to deploy additional grant funding provided by BMZ through KfW in 2021 for guarantees and technical assistance measures to support MSMEs towards economic recovery and to relaunch growth with a more specific focus on supporting entrepreneurs and start-ups.

Requested Services:

• The Services comprise of technical assistance (TA) for financial institutions and for MSMEs as well as project administrative support for the ADGF. The TA shall target both financial institutions and MSMEs and aim to ensure that project objectives are achieved. The deployment of TA shall be preceded by a needs assessment and TA concept development which must be accepted by ADGF and KfW. The Consultant is expected to implement the Services in continuous close coordination with ADGF, KfW and other key stakeholders in the field of MSME and Start-up promotion in Albania.
