Consulting Services, Mid-term Review of the BMZ Program in Burkina Faso and Ghana (Agriculture and Food Security)

Brief description of the Contract:

• Since 2017, the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) is rolling out its USD 500 million strategy across 11 countries in Africa to improve food security and income of 30 million smallholder households. AGRA’s strategy is focussed on the three thematic areas a) state capability and policy engagement, b) systems development, and c) partnerships. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is contributing via KfW Development Bank EUR 10 million to co-finance AGRA’s strategy in Burkina Faso and Ghana and to contribute to the overall objective of catalysing and sustaining agricultural transformation, with the intention to increase household incomes and improve food security for smallholder farmers in the targeted regions in Burkina Faso and Ghana.
  
  The consulting services consist in the elaboration of a mid-term review of the BMZ Program in Burkina Faso and Ghana.
