On-Site Trainings for Energy Efficiency in Rural Power Supply - Accompanying Measure

Brief Description of the Contract:

As part of German Financial Cooperation (FC) with Cambodia, the German Government (BMZ) supports the Cambodian Government through KfW in developing the Cambodian energy sector, especially related to power grid modernization and extension.

To this end, the Project Execution Agency Electricité du Cambodge (EDC) requests international consulting services to support and conduct trainings for EDC’s technical team in order to strengthening the institutional and human resource capacity.

These consulting services include, among other things, on-site trainings (over longer and shorter periods of time), preparation, organization and implementation of training on-site and abroad related but not limited to the following topics: water management (hydro power plant), telecommunication of power system, RTU and DCS, IT security, environment and social issues, project management, preparation of technical drawing specification as basis for installation of MV-equipment and neutral connection to all conceivable installation schemes, operation and maintenance of GIS-substations, Live Line Operation and maintenance of distribution system.
