Project:

• The Project aims to improve water environment quality, ecological protection, urban water supply and drainage conditions, and the living conditions of the population in central Laohekou. It also contributes to water conservation and clean oceans.

Requested Services:

• Support the PEA, the Chinese Design Institute(s) and the Window Company during project preparation and implementation

• Review investigations, surveys and preliminary designs for the four subprojects

• Review and monitor environmental, social, health and safety documentation and safeguards

• Provide technical input to ensure compliance with applicable international standards

• Review the contractual, commercial and technical parts of the EPC tender documents and confirm compliance with Chinese requirements and KfW Procurement Guidelines
