Lot 2 - Procurement of Works and Goods for Rural Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Programme, Ajara, Republic of Georgia

Works contractors may express their interest in prequalification for one or more of the three works “construction only” contracts in five municipalities in rural Ajara.

The works are predominantly the provision of buried water and sewer pipes and small buried tanks (pressure break tanks/reservoirs for water and septic tanks for wastewater). The works are divided into three lots (2A, 2B and 2C) with similar characteristics other than the numbers of properties to be served and the associated variation in lengths of pipes and numbers of facilities to be installed. Lot 2A also includes the supply of goods in the form of software and furniture for which no particular skills or previous experiences are required. The project area is predominantly hilly/ mountainous, with a low density population bringing particular design challenges and is generally of high environmental value (i.e. virgin forest/landscape with high biodiversity)
