The project activities include the construction of a new workshop building and the purchase of training equipment for the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Green Technologies. In addition, support shall be provided to the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) to finance training vouchers for owners of small and micro enterprises from the informal sector as well as for their workers and apprentices
Requested Consulting Services:
a) Phase III: Center of Excellence (CoE) for Green Technologies
b) Phase IV: Ghana TVET Voucher Project
The consultant shall support the Employer in regularly reviewing and, if necessary, updating the project design and implementation arrangements, including the detailed procedures regarding the voucher provision to the target group. Moreover, the consultant shall support the employer in managing and coordinating the project (including supporting the reporting towards KfW) and in procuring equipment and small infrastructure investments for CTVET, TAs and TPs. Furthermore, the consultant shall support the employer in the management of the disposition fund and the monitoring and support of the Voucher Management Unit within CTVET.
The implementation consultant may also be tasked to further develop, upgrade and adjust the IT system which was individually developed and consequently expanded in pervious project phases for CTVET to administer the Ghana TVET Voucher Project (the Voucher Management System, VMS).
