Consulting Services for Project Management for Improvement of Rural Roads in Western Kenya

Project Measures:

• Improvement works of rural roads, using both gravel and Low Volume Seal technology, within the beneficiary counties of Vihiga, Kakamega and Trans Nzoia; Equipment endowment for the Trans Nzoia Regional Office (KeRRA); Services of a Programme Management Consultant (PMC) for supporting project management and implementation; Consulting services for the road prioritization and selection process, detailed design, construction supervision, and environmental and social safeguards compliance, including ESIAs, baseline and impacts studies as well as independent audits (Lot 1)
• Consulting services for training and capacity building of representatives of road construction companies, constituency road committees, county governments and KeRRA in climate resilient and sustainable road rehabilitation and maintenance (gravel and low-volume sealed), in cooperation with and support of Kisii Training Center; Consulting services for support and training of Counties, KeRRA and MoTIHUD&PW towards improved road monitoring and road maintenance planning (Lot 2)
