Consulting, Implementation of Rural Electrification through Renewable Energy Program

Project: 

• The Consultant's mandate will support the "Rural Electrification through Renewable Energy (ERER)" program of KfW with ADER. Phases I and II were dedicated to the implementation of two rural electrification projects in the SAVA region, namely the Andriamanjavona and Belaoko Lokoho projects. The third phase aims to implement another rural electrification project, potentially in Antongil Bay. In addition to delivering Consulting Engineer services for phase (III), the Consultant will also take over from the previous consultant for phases (I) and (II) to support the implementation of the two projects in the SAVA region.

Brief Description of the Contract:

• The objective of the Consultant's mission is to provide expertise to ADER in the areas of engineering, design, tendering, economic monitoring, as well as construction supervision and commissioning, to ensure the effective implementation of the project. Particular attention will be given to compliance with both national and KfW requirements concerning environmental and social standards throughout the project. As part of their mission to support ADER in carrying out its mandate, the Consultant may also be called upon to provide support services that are not directly related to the project, which will be executed within the scope of their mandate.
