The requirements outlined in the pre-qualification (PQ) document dated 01.06.2022, no longer fulfil the present needs of the project. Due to that, the tender process has been cancelled.

The African Energy Guarantee Facility (AEGF) is a risk-sharing facility targeting the reinsurance market for the African energy sector. The Facility has a unique risk-sharing structure that increases the insurance capacity of primary insurers. In this way, the primary insurer will be able to insure important projects contributing to the Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) initiative.
The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance AEGF’s market presence and primary insurer network in Sub-Saharan Africa by increasing the number of insurance contracts backed by AEGF (signed and in preparation). This includes but is not limited to marketing activities, establishing a client base and maintaining a close relationship with relevant target groups in Sub-Saharan Africa, optimizing AEGF’s outreach in alignment with the primary insurers’ marketing activities, representing AEGF to enhance the visibility of the facility as well as actively promoting AEGF in Sub-Saharan Africa, amongst others in meetings, events, and workshops.
