The King Abdullah Canal (KAC) is the largest irrigation canal in Jordan running parallel to the east bank of the Jordan River from north to south throughout the Jordan Valley (JV). The KAC is an artificial water conveyor serving as a water source for drinking water supply of Amman and Irbid as well as for irrigation throughout all parts of the Jordan Valley.
