Project
The German Government is considering making available financing for a project in the financial sector. In a first phase of the project the German Government would support the availability of affordable loans for SMEs with a grant of 10 Million Euros. Via the newly founded „Fund for Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth of Moldova“ (FACEM) at the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), a public institution subordinated to the Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation.

Brief Description of the Contract:
construction of 50 km of DN400-600 ductile iron pipeline, 2.0 km of 315-160 mm HDPE PN10 pipeline, several pumping stations of up to 40 l/s, 800 m3 reinforced concrete reservoir, 1 re-chlorination installation, valves, flowmeters, and M&E, instrumentation, SCADA and control installations, with all works for potable water supply. Qualified Contractors or Joint Ventures are invited to submit a prequalification document.

The Municipality of Cahul now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for construction of the following works:
Lot 1: Water supply
Transmission main made of ductile iron, DN 500 for 8.2 km including adjacent structures, two (02) road and one (01) railway crossings;
Rehabilitation of WS distribution system Cahul for up to 6 km (DN 200 to DN 500, HDPE and DI);
SCADA system for the entire water supply system Cahul;
Training, taking into operation.

Extension of WW collection system Cahul for about 35 km (DN 200 and 300, class SN10) (including among others about 2,100 new wastewater connections, 6 new prefabricated wastewater pumping stations);
