Consulting, Project Implementation Support (Climate-Smart Sustainable Land Management)

Project Measures:

• The overall objective of the Climate-Smart Sustainable Land Management Programme (CSA SLM V) is to improve the livelihoods, food security and economic well-being of the country’s farmers, herders and forest resource users, with the specific project objective of reducing land degradation on selected agricultural land and increasing the agricultural productivity of smallholder farms

Requested Services:

Assistance in the implementation of the project based on the following expertise:

• Natural resources management and conservation, with particular emphasis on integrated watershed development and management based on participatory approaches (planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation)
• Soil and water conservation, especially in rural engineering (tendering, design, assistance at critical construction stages, supervision of key infrastructures)
• Agricultural development and income-generating activities
• Support zone development in the vicinity of protected areas
• EHS and ESIA expertise
• Project management, in particular FC-financed projects 
• Procurement, financial management and accounting
