Construction Works, Irrigation Measures in Floodplains

Brief description of the Contract:

Construction works under Phase IV of the KfW-financed FONDS D'INVESTISSEMENT AGRICULTURE (FI-Agri) project to increase and diversify agricultural production by better exploiting agricultural potential, particularly valley floodplains in the Atacora and Donga districts:

• Rehabilitation of a floodplain (Bas-Fonds) in Gonri (municipality of Péhunco): construction of a cyclopean concrete dam (seuil d'épandage) for water retention and storage;
• Rehabilitation of a floodplain (Bas-Fonds) in Matalé (municipality of Cobly): construction of a cyclopean concrete dam (seuil de rehaussement) for water retention and storage;
• Rehabilitation of a floodplain (Bas-Fonds) in Oubatcounbliéhoun (municipality of Cobly): construction of two cyclopean concrete dams (seuils de rehaussement) for water retention and storage.
