Design/Construction, Wastewater Treatment Plant (Climate Resilience Program)

Requested Services: 

• Change in the treatment process of the Brazlândia 01 Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETE.BRZ.001), Brazlândia/DF. The proposed improvement consists of replacing the current system with a modified aerobic biological treatment using activated sludge, followed by a final polishing stage through diffused air aeration. This approach will provide greater pollutant removal and ensure compliance with environmental standards, reducing the pollutant load of the treated effluents. Another key aspect is the potential expansion of the supply of direct and/or indirect reclaimed water, promoting water sustainability in the region and contributing to the reduction of demand on natural water sources. In short, the aim is to adapt the infrastructure of the Brazlândia WWTP to current environmental standards, ensuring efficient wastewater treatment, environmental protection, and the sustainable use of water resources.
