Construction Services and Supply of Goods for Rural Water Supply and Wastewater Programme

Brief Description of the Contract:

Lot 1B: Procurement of Supplies and Works for the Rural Water Supply and Wastewater Programme in rural Ajara (municipalities Shukahevi, Khelvachauri and Keda)

• The rehabilitation and/or reconstruction and extension of the centralized water supply infrastructure including water production facilities (river water intakes and/or spring tapping), water transmission mains, water treatment facilities, reservoirs, distribution network and house connections;
• The reconstruction of the existing centralized sewerage system including house connections, sewer pipelines and manholes, wastewater treatment plants and discharge of treated effluents into the receiving waters (Shukahevi and Keda);
• The construction of on-site sanitation facilities consisting in either septic tanks with appropriate infiltration systems where possible or small-scale constructed wetlands, including the preliminary assessment of underground conditions and site characteristics to identify the most appropriate technical solution (Khelvachauri);
• The construction of an administration, operation and maintenance building in each of the municipalities.
