Brief description of the Contract:

• For Ghana, energy is the key to social and sustainable development. Against the background of economic and demographic growth and the associated increasing energy needs of the population and the economy, adequate and sustainable supply of electricity remains one of the country's biggest challenges. To ensure the most cost-effective and climate-friendly energy supply possible, the Reform-Partnership between Ghana and Germany is intended to promote financing in renewable energy (RE) sources in the Ghanaian power sector. The aim of the consulting assignment is to assess the feasibility of constructing and operating grid-connected decentralized solar power plants (e.g. solar PV rooftop systems) in order to reduce the costs of energy consumption in public buildings in the Republic of Ghana
