Project:

The objective of the Surabaya Regional Railway Line (SRRL) Project is to respond to and the increasing mobility demand and to ease the transit capacity bottleneck in Gerbangkertosusila by further establishing and developing an electrified commuter railway system. In particular, the aim is to relieve the urban traffic pressure, reduce the city’s environmental pollution, reduce the specific per-trip transport-related energy consumption and improve the urban living environment.

Brief Description of the Contract:

The scope of the RDC includes, inter alia, data acquisition and compilation, the preliminary and detailed engineering design, topographic, geotechnical, and hydrological survey activities for Phase 1 - Stage A (Surabaya Gubeng - Sidoarjo) and Phase 1 - Stage B (Surabaya Pasar Turi - Surabaya Gubeng). Furthermore, the RDC shall update the SRRL Feasibility Study for Phase 2 of the Project.
