Consulting Services/Feasibility Study, Water Extraction/Groundwater Desalination

Brief description of the Contract:

The objective of the Feasibility Study is the development of a technically and financially sustainable groundwater desalination scheme in Jordan.  
 
Requested Consultant Services:

The Employer is seeking to engage a qualified Consultant to perform the following services:

• Preparation of a Feasibility Study to develop new water sources, in particular drilling of wells and water treatment of saline water: process design, connection to the bulk water supply, evacuation of the brine, energy supply, operational aspects as well as calculation of CAPEX and OPEX;
• Preparation of environmental and social impact assessment;
• Climate analysis
• Recommend the most appropriate type of tender and operation
