Requested Services:

• Rehabilitation of the Pepelishte Irrigation Scheme (PEP), one of four schemes planned/designed. The irrigated area of the Pepelishte scheme covers around 3,000 hectares. 

  Scope of Works – Pepelishte Irrigation Scheme: 
  • Construction of approximately 23 km of main pressurized pipe with diameters ranging from 315 to 1200 mm
  • Construction of approximately 96 km of new pressurized pipe network, with diameters ranging from 90 mm to 750 mm
  • Installation of approximately 619 hydrants for drip and sprinkler irrigation systems
  • Construction of a new weir and intake structure to withdraw 1.7 m3/s irrigation water from Vardar River
  • Construction of a new main supply pumping station equipped with 5 main and 1 jockey vertical pumps, with a total capacity of 1.7 m³/s  
     and a pump head of approx. 72m
  • Construction of 4 new booster pumping stations with 3 – 5 horizontal split case pumps with flow of 150–300 l/s and head of 
     approx. 70 m
