International Competitive Bidding (ICB) – Procurement of Commodities

Project Measures:

DKT Pakistan Private Limited (DKT) has received financing from KfW toward the cost of the SEW Project – Self Employment of Women in the Private Health Sector. It is intended that parts of the proceeds of this Contribution will be applied to eligible payments under contract for procurement of Goods and Services for which this invitation for bids is issued.

Requested Goods:

The bidding will be conducted by means of the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) with qualification as specified in KfW’s KfW Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Plant, Goods and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partners (“KfW Guidelines”) and the relevant regulations of the Government of Pakistan. The bidding is open to all companies, either national or international establishments.

The following table sets out the nature and quantity of different commodities which are intended to be purchased through this tender. Bidders may bid for one or both Lots:

Bids are required on DAP basis with delivery at DKT Pakistan (Pvt) Limited Warehouse at Plot No. 1 J.B., Near Pull Dengru, Sargodha Road, Faisalabad District, Pakistan.

A complete set of bidding documents is available in electronic for interested bidders free of cost from DKT. The same may be obtained by the bidders free of charge at the above-mentioned email address. The bidding documents shall be sent via email to the requester’s email address. The bidding documents received from DKT are not transferable.

Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in the clause ITB 22.1 of the bidding documents on at or before 1200hrs Pakistan Standard Time on 17.07.2023. Late Bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address indicated in the clause ITB 22.1 of the bidding document on at or before 1300hrs Pakistan Standard Time on 17.07.2023 (same day).

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security and completed mandatory forms.

As the Authority competent to accept the tender, we reserve the right to accept or reject one or all the Bids without assigning any reason thereof. Award of the Contract will be subject to approval by the KfW Development Bank (KfW), Federal Republic of Germany.
