Consulting Services, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (Electricity Project)

Brief description of the Contract:

The project aims to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions in Paraguay through investments in energy transmission and distribution infrastructure, while contributing to a more reliable electricity supply.

A Scoping Study of the project was carried out for the determination of the scope of the ESIA. The study will be provided to the prequalified applicants in conjunction with the Terms of Reference and will serve as the basis for the realization of the consulting services in mention.

Requested Consulting Services:

• The Consultant shall conduct the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment in accordance with Paraguay's Environmental and Social Standards and Guidelines and the international standards applicable to the Project (World Bank Environmental and Social Standards, World Bank Group Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines and KfW Sustainability Guidelines).

  Consultancy services should be provided by a team of international and national experts with proven work experience under similar conditions, as well as in the application of the World Bank Environmental and Social Standards.
