Project:

  • The Nexus Energy Water Programme for Zambia (NEWZA) aims to strengthen the nexus between energy and water sectors. NEWZA is co-funded by the European Union (EU) and the Federal Republic of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through KfW. 

Requested Services:

  • Component 1 – Solar PV
    Project management, design, installation and commissioning of solar arrays
     
  • Sub-component 1a – Grid-tied Solar PV
    Design and delivery of grid-tied solar power installations on the existing CU water production/abstraction/treatment and/or other sites
     
  • Sub-component 1b – Hybrid Solar PV
    Design and delivery of hybrid solar PV power installations on the existing CU water production/abstraction/treatment and/or other sites
     
  • Component 2 – Pump Systems
    Rehabilitation of existing pumping system equipment, broadly: pump, cables, LV panels, MV panels, valves/fittings, pump station pipework, instrumentation and control equipment
