Consulting, Assistance in the Implementation of The Green Energy for All Project

Project: 

The objective of the project is to enhance electricity supply in isolated rural areas through the development of climate-friendly renewable energy sources. This will be achieved by installing photovoltaic power plants, battery energy storage systems, connecting households, public infrastructure, and other potential clients, as well as establishing an electricity distribution network and kits in villages. Additionally, the villages will be connected to the photovoltaic power plants.

Brief Description of the Contract:

• Support Senelec in organizational, contractual, financial, and technical matters to ensure project execution within budget, on time, and with the intended quality.
• Act as a facilitator in the relationships between Senelec, the constructor, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare monitoring reports for Senelec, addressing crucial aspects for the smooth progress and management of the project.
• Propose improvements and adaptations to the project if they contribute to better outcomes
• Develop Preliminary Project Outlines (PPO) and  Detailed Project Outlines (DPO)
• Verify and adapt Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP) and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA)
• Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) and manage the procurement process for hiring one or more Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors
• Monitor and validate various project phases, including engineering, supply, construction, testing, billing, scheduling, etc.
• Prepare and conduct project meetings and compile meeting minutes.
• Analyze the current project situation and guide implementation.
• Evaluate indicators and target groups.
• Design and implement strategies to ensure project sustainability and measure its impact in terms of gender (promotion of women) and energy efficiency.
• Provide training to Senelec during the project execution.
