Project:
This investment programme aims to implement facilities for waste sorting and treatment as well as the safe disposal of generated solid waste at a sanitary landfill within the region of Vranje at the Meteris Site.
Requested services:
- The plant includes the construction of landfill-cells, in compliance with the EU Landfill Directive 1999/31/EC for non-hazardous waste, a leachate treatment plant, landfill gas-collection and utilisation unit as well as staff-facilities, offices, a workshop, fuelling station, an area for vehicle and equipment cleaning and a hangar for landfill machinery including landfill operation equipment. A Material Recovery Facility for waste separated at source (from mix recyclables bins or recycling yards) designed for a max. input 5,100 t/year and a composting plant for green waste with a capacity of 1,600 t/year are also foreseen.
