Regional State of Hessen Launches Billion-Euro Innovation Fund
The western German regional state of Hessen if investing ten figures in future technologies and ideas.

The one-billion-euro Hessen Fund debuted in late April and is explicitly aimed at start-ups as well as established SMEs.
The money is intended to finance sustainable, innovative companies with good growth potential that want to shake up the market.
EUR 750 million of the project will take the form of loans. The remaining EUR 250 million will be used for silent and direct stakes in the beneficiary companies.
