AI Use Doubles Within a Year to 38 Percent in Germany

Regular use of AI tools in the German labor market increased to 38 percent this year, twice the previous year’s level of 19 percent. Daily usage similarly doubled from seven percent to 16 percent during the same period. 

However, the report adds a cautionary note, observing the decline in regular AI usage in the USA – that has saw a drop to just 47 percent from the 2025 level of 64 percent – caused by a drop-off in training and integration offers within companies. According to McKinsey, 31 percent of US companies still offer AI training, compared to 49 percent in China.
