Germany is Europe's largest healthcare market, making it the preferred choice for many international companies seeking to expand their business. Healthcare in Germany is in the midst of a massive digital transformation process: By 2025, the German digital health market is projected to be worth EUR 57 billion. Continuous reform and deregulation packages pave the way for innovation. In 2020, Germany was the first to introduce a “fast track” for digital health apps (DIGA) covered by public health insurance. Recent initiatives focus on expanded use of patient-doctor communication platforms, artificial intelligence, robotic solutions, and better access to patient data for research and innovation. Guest speakers will share market insights, learnings from their experience and market opportunities that they have identified. Support for international companies interested in expanding into Germany will also be highlighted.
