The aim of the above-mentioned project is to improve the potable water supply and wastewater dispoal system in the city of Kayes and the surrounding municipalities; i.e. construction of a new and rehabilitation of an existing water treatment plant, construction of water towers, of a fecal sludge treatment plant, of septic tanks etc.

Brief description of the Contract:

• technical assistance and project management
• project lead and project management (including preparation of technical studies, assistance in procurement procedures and supervision of construction works)
• preparation of environmental and social impact studies
• preparation of a feasibility study for construction of a fecal sludge treatment plant
• implementation of accompanying measures
• etc.
