Consulting Services, Decentralisation Process in Medium Sized Municipalities - Project Implementation and Accompanying Measures

Project Measures:

Improve the economic and social situation of the population by developing local infrastructure based on approved Integrated Development Plans. Further, the Project is to contribute to the improvement of local administrations in the six municipalities  in Southern Province and to improve the professional and technical capacity to plan, build and maintain their infrastructure.

Requested Services:

• Detailed Project design development including detailed time, cost and financing schedules
• Designing and implementing tender processes
• Planning, designing and supervising of construction works
• Financial administration, management, monitoring and reporting of the Project
• Capacity building of stakeholders in sustainable infrastructure investment planning, procurement, contract management, income generation and operation and maintenance of infrastructure investments
• Developing and implementing a monitoring & evaluation framework and baseline studies
• Development of environmental and social documents and monitoring of the implementation of environmental and social matters as well as the application of health and safety standards.
