Event Norway Energy Efficiency

Cleantech Capital Day

Event: Apr 03, 2017 - Apr 04, 2017 Location: Oslo, Norway

Venue: The Old Museum | Oslo | Norway

The German Cleantech Capital Market

Germany Trade & Invest will outline in this workshop the advantages of Germany as a location for cleantech companies - with a particular focus on following topics:

  • Germany’s Energiewende
  • Energy Efficiency technologies
  • Environmental technologies such as water and resource efficiency
  • How to start your business in Germany

Improving energy efficiency and integrating an increasing share of renewables into the national energy mix are the two key pillars of Germany’s Energiewende – the strategic transition towards a more sustainable energy system by 2050. Already today, Germany has already achieved a share of almost 30 percent renewable energies at the energy consumption and has decoupled economic growth from total energy consumption. Further significant investments are needed to reach Germany’s aggressive goals to expand the share of renewable up to at least 80 percent by 2050 and to decrease its energy consumption by 50 percent.

GTAI’s experts will be on hand to discuss market opportunities, policy frameworks, illustrate business cases and explain the tax, legal and incentive framework in Germany.
