Panel Discussion: Female Entrepreneurship in Times of War
Join our expert panel as we explore strategies and measures to strengthen Ukrainian women’s leadership in business!
About 40 percent of Ukrainian women are currently not active in the labor market. And yet there is an entrepreneurial spirit in many of them: More than two-thirds are toying with the idea of starting their own business. Experts confirm this ambition, despite all the challenges.
Because the reality is challenging: Three quarters cite a lack of financing as the biggest obstacle. One in two encounters stereotypes in the work environment, and for many, lack of experience or self-confidence are additional hurdles. Despite war and mobilization, new opportunities are emerging – but how can women take advantage of them? Which industries are opening up? And what support is needed to strengthen female entrepreneurship in Ukraine in the long term?
We will talk about this in our webinar: "Female Entrepreneurship in Times of War". With experts from business and the community, we will discuss how Germany and Ukraine can learn from each other and create perspectives together.
