Profile of the local business partner
Ivoire Oilfield Services (IVOS) is an Ivorian company specializing in waste treatment, tank cleaning, industrial site maintenance, equipment supply, capacity building, and engineering studies in oil, mining, and other industrial sectors. IVOS is present in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and the Republic of Guinea. The company is seeking best available technologies to expand its industrial waste management and treatment services in West Africa.
Products or services needed
IVOS is focussing on technologies capable of:
- Recycling plastics and all hydrocarbon-based materials
- Treating contaminated water (slops and other effluents)
- Completely eliminating non-recyclable hazardous waste (through incineration)
The water treated by IVOS generally include pyrolysis water, smoke-washing water, rainwater (depending on the collection site), and contaminated slops. Typical characteristics of the wastewater treated are presented in the table below

In addition to wastewater treatment, IVOS provides hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal services through incineration. In this context, IVOS seeks to acquire an incinerator with a capacity of approximately 10 tons per day to optimize its waste disposal operations. The types of waste concerned include, but are not limited to:
- Biomedical waste
- Unusable pharmaceutical products
- Chemical product packaging (from laboratories, buildings, or warehouses)
- Magnetic tapes
- Fluorescent tubes containing mercury
- Treated wooden poles
- Refrigerant gases from air conditioners and refrigerators
- Automatic gas extinguishing bottles
- Defective stock (commercial or technical)
- Soiled cardboard and rags
