SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE

PROCUREMENT OF GOODS

1. The Government of the Republic of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project 2 (GPSNP 2) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for PROCUREMENT OF 2,500 NO. TABLETS AND ACCESSORIES. 
2. The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of 2,500 No. Tablets and Accessories as shown below: 

 

 

NB: More details on the required specifications are contained in the bidding documents   (See Section VII). A margin of preference shall NOT apply. 

  

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (7TH Edition).
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address below and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Tuesday, 18th August 2026. 
3. A complete set of the bidding document in English may be purchased and collected by interested eligible bidders at the address below upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis only (GH¢ 500.00) cash, to the Accounts Unit, 3rd Floor (Room 313) of the Ministry. Upon payment of bid fee, bidders are required to obtain an official receipt from the Accounts Unit before collecting the documents from the Procurement and Supply Chain Management Directorate on the 2nd Floor (Room 213) of MoGCSP (New Office Complex near Ridge Church). No arrangements have been made for other methods of delivery of bidding documents. 
4. Sealed Bids must be clearly marked PROCUREMENT OF 2,500 NO. TABLETS AND ACCESSORIES and delivered to the address below into the Bid Box placed at the Reception of the Ministry on or before Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 11:00 am and will remain valid for a period of 120 calendar days (Wednesday, 13th January 2027) after the bid submission deadline. Electronic Bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend in the Conference Room of the Ministry on 15th September 2026 at 11:00 am.
5. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% Bank Guarantee or 10% Insurance Bond of the total bid price. 
6. Bidders must quote for all items and quotations shall be VAT inclusive (Standard Rate)
7. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document. 
8. For bidders’ eligibility, bids must be submitted together with the following: - 

  

1. 1. Business Registration Certificates 
   2. VAT Registration Certificate
   3. Certificate of Incorporation
   4. Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate 
   5. Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate   
   6. Valid PPA Registration Certificate/ Evidence of Renewal   
   7. Product Brochures with offered specification.
   8. Genuine Manufacturer’s Authorisation (if supplier is not a manufacturer)
   9. 2024 and 2025 Audited Financial Statements.
