Vorgesehen:

  • Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung, Inbetriebnahme und Skalierung indexbasierter Ernteversicherungen im Rahmen der o. g. Maßnahme zur Minderung von Fragilität durch das afrikanische Risikofinanzierungsprogramm gegen Katastrophen (ADRIFI II)

The Government of Malawi, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of the Mitigating Fragility through the Africa Disaster Risk Financing (ADRiFi II) Programme in Southern Africa: Malawi and Zimbabwe and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the grant towards the contract for Index-Based Crop Insurance, Market Development and Delivery in Malawi.
