Purchasing of Tender Documents
- A complete set of bidding documents (on USB) in English may be purchased by interested applicants at the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 200.0 or in a freely convertible currency. The payment shall be made in cash to (EdM’s Central Treasury Department – Tesouraria Central da EdM at Avenida Agostinho Neto N.70, Maputo Mozambique) or by wire transfer to EdM, EP account at the address below. The tenderer himself or his agent shall collect the Tender Documents (soft copy on a USB stick) the Employer’s office from 8:30h to 15:30h in normal working days.
- The tender documents may also be obtained by download of soft copies from a dedicated internet server. The access will be communicated to Tenderer upon proof of payment; the Tenderer shall transmit a copy of Bank Payment Slip and his e-mail address to the e-mails above.

Short description of the scope:
STIP Lot B for Central Region - Tete Province
- New substation, 2x40MVA 66/33 kV in Canangola including remote ends modification in Matambo and Tete (remote end works telecom and protection) and upgrade of 15km of 66 kV line Matambo – Canangola;
- The distribution in Tete/Moatize medium voltage lines;
- The medium voltage transformer stations and related low voltage part;
- The connections of consumers.
Option: The tenderer shall quote alternatives for the items:
- 33kV AIS type switchgear instead of GIS type in Canangola. All the 33 kV GIS cubicles shall be designed as AIS cubicles. The related spare parts to supply shall be adapted. This has an impact to the design of the substation building (size) as well. The related technical data sheets to be filled in are given.
- Live dismantling and stringing of the conductors for the replacement of the 33 kV circuit by 66 kV on the existing double circuit line,Matambo - Canangola.
- 66 kV bypass bay at Matambo substation.
