Germany’s Heat Transition: Instruments for a Climate-Neutral Heating Sector
Join us for a webinar that explores how the country is tackling one of its biggest energy challenges: decarbonizing heat.
The heat sector is at the heart of the German energy transition: heating and cooling applications account for more than 50% of the final energy consumption. Join us for a webinar that explores how the country is tackling one of its biggest energy challenges: decarbonizing heat. We’ll showcase two key instruments driving this transformation: The Federal Office for Energy Efficiency will present its Waste Heat Platform—a national database designed to identify and leverage sources of industrial waste heat. The Competence Centre for Municipal Heat Transition will introduce the concept of mu-nicipal heat planning, a strategic tool empowering local players to shape sustainable heating infrastructure.
Germany Trade & Invest, the federal agency for economic development, will present its range of support services for international businesses aiming to establish a foothold in Germany’s heating sector.
