  1. The Bosnia and Herzegovina has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sava and Drina Rivers Corridors Integrated Development Program and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for works on “The demining works at 73 locations in the right bank of the Sava River, LOT 2: Gradiška – Srbac”.
  2. Ministry of Communication and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for “The demining works at 73 locations in the right bank of the Sava River, LOT 2: Gradiška – Srbac”, construction period 18 months, location Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November, 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  4. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents. The following weightings shall apply for Rated Criteria (including technical and non-price factors): 60% and for Bid cost: 40%.
  5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Communication and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lejla Hodi-lejla.maja.hodzic@gmail.com and Sneana Hadi-Snezana.Hadzic@mkt.gov.ba and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
  6. The Bidding document in English language will be provided in electronic copy to all interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. Interested Bidders are requested to provide the following details under application: full name of the company, address, contact details (phone number, and email address). The document will be sent via an email.
  7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 6th October 2026 at 12:00 hrs local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below on 6th October 2026 at 12:30 hrs local time. All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.
  8. All Bids must be accompanied by a: (i) Bid Security in amount of: 20.000,00 EUR and (ii) Local Labour Method Statement.
  9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
