Robotics Company Sets New German VC Financing Record

Neura Robotics has concluded a stellar Series C funding round that could bring in up to USD 1.4 billion.

The twelve main investors include such heavyweight international names as Qualcomm, Nvidia, Amazon and Bosch as well as the European Investment Bank. It is the largest financing round ever in Germany.

Neura is known for “physical AI,” which combines robotics hardware with artificial intelligence.

“The future will not be decided on screens,” said company CEO and founder David Reger on the Neura website. “It starts now, with technology that improves everyday life and serves humanity.”

Reger added that the potential USD 1.4 billion in fresh funds would put Neura on a level playing ground with competitors from the United States and China.

The company website says that the money will be used for scaling production, global expansion, creating a roibotics dataset and accelerating humanoid deployment.
