World’s Largest “Robogym” to Open in Munich
The Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) of the Technical University of Munich and Neura Robotics are building the world’s largest “robogym” at Munich Airport.

Hundreds of humanoid robots will be trained at the 2,3000 square meter facility located at the TUM facility. Led by MIRMI professors Lorenzo Masia and Achim Lilienthal, the research and training center will develop hundreds of systems in the “robogym” for everyday applications to counter the competition coming from both China and the USA. Neura Robotics is contributing EUR 11 million of the planned EUR 17 million investment.
