The Federal Republic of Somalia has received financing from the African Development Fund towards the cost of implementing the Strengthening Economic Governance and Infrastructure Development Project (SEGID). The Ministry intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for the Consulting Firm for Drafting of Key Anti-Corruption Laws & Legislative Drafting Capacity Development in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs (MoJCA). The project development objective is to improve Somalia’s institutional capacity for transparent, accountable, and inclusive economic governance by strengthening the Ministry of Finance’s operational efficiency and resilient infrastructure.
